Have had one starter seized where the driveshaft still turned, but guess it was not extended. Thanks for the idea, will have to wait until I go back up north now next weekend.

 
Hey everyone, My 2015 Sonata 2.4l SE seized up on the freeway. Engine light started flashing, acceleration dropped and a loud noise like a knock happened.
